Welcome to

Aum Episcopal Catholic Church

Bishop Matthew McCarthy, DSC

The syllable Aum is described as all-encompassing sound of God,
the sound of Creation;
and it symbolizes the manifestation of God in form.
Aum became Amen and is said to mean “so be it”

Why do we seem to have a few different customs?

We hold to the traditional beliefs of the Eucharist, Apostolic Succession,
Liturgy, and Prayer of the ancient church.
We are also incorporating a few simple traditions that, from our experience,
have proven to be beneficial to spiritual growth and devotion to the Lord
– and that in no way conflict with traditions of our
One Holy and Apostolic Church.

To create a more solemn time of worhisp and communion:
We do not take any collection during the time of Worship,
however contributions are welcome
and can be left in the designated area.
**********
Holy Communion is open to any Baptized person who so desires to partake of this very sacred Sacrament.

*** Notice ***
Other churches in our jurisdiction are free to choose whether or not collections are to be taken during the time of worship.
** They are also free to decide which Rite to use for their Liturgy/Eucharistic Service.

I am a spirit soul caught in the cycle of birth and death,
suffering and enjoying according to the reactions of past deeds.
I am on the path to rediscover my spiritual identity.
